Our Hub

Through our kind sponsors and the many donations, we've opened up a wonderful hub, entirely focused on being sensory-friendly!

Our Facilities

Autism Awareness Roscrea provides a dedicated community hub in Roscrea, offering sensory spaces, activity areas, parent support meetings, recreational programs, youth clubs, art clubs, and awareness events tailored for families and individuals on the autism spectrum and with neurodiverse needs. We are also currently developing a sensory-friendly garden, with the fairy houses outside the hub already completed!

Multi Activity Room

Our main shared space where group clubs and activities take place. It’s a welcoming, flexible area designed for connection, play, and routine.

Teenage Den

A calm, age-appropriate space for young people aged 12 to 18. It offers a relaxed setting with games, seating, and a TV to unwind and socialise.

Therapy Room

A quiet, private space designed for one-on-one support sessions.
This room provides a comfortable, supportive and safe environment for focused interactions and reflections.

Chill-out Space

A low-stimulation space created for rest and regulation. It helps reduce sensory input and offers a peaceful place to reset.

Alfie's Sensory Room

This space provides sensory friendly therapeutic opportunities that include tactile auditory and visual experiences.

Alfie's Active Room

This room provides active sensory experiences supporting balance, body awareness & coordination.

Creative Arts Room

A creative space filled with a variety of materials for hands-on activities. From painting to making, it encourages expression and imagination.
